Red Clay uses a system called Alert Now to communicate quickly with parents in the event of emergencies. In addition to emergency notification, the system allows schools to quickly send reminders and other important information to parents.
We recognize that families may want to tailor the types of information they receive through this system as well as the numbers that are used. To 
accommodate this, parents are encouraged to visit the Alert Now Parent Portal.
This portal allows parents to choose the types of messages that they receive as well as the phone numbers that are used.
Parents are still encouraged to contact their child’s school when home or guardian phone numbers change.
