"We must compete more effectively for students – however, the new program was designed with our current students in mind,’’ said JDHS Principal Byron Murphy. "Our current student body has ample potential and our teachers are up to this exciting task.’’
"We have visited and studied schools with similar programs throughout the country,’’ said Superintendent Mervin Daugherty. "I am confident that the redesigned JDHS will offer valuable programs for our diverse student population and we have the team in place to succeed.’’
